This 5s1p battery pack is designed for use in DJI Mavic 3 series drones and compatible unmanned aerial vehicles. The configuration of five cells connected in series provides a nominal voltage of 18.0 V, which meets the requirements of most modern compact quadcopters. The main advantage of the 5s1p configuration is that it combines a lightweight design with sufficient energy capacity for extended flight times. The battery pack is connected using the XT-60 connector, a proven standard in the unmanned aerial vehicle industry. It provides stable conductivity even under high loads. It is important to charge the 5s1p battery pack correctly to prevent damage and drone failure.
- The battery should be charged to no more than 20.4 V (ideally: 20.2–20.4 V).
- Set the charger current to 2.5 A.
- Charging above 20.5 V can cause the drone to malfunction, including camera damage, motherboard issues, and burnout of the charge controllers.
- Charging at 21 V or higher significantly increases the risk of drone failure and sudden crashes.
