What is a thermal battery box?
Thermal battery box, also known as thermal containers, thermal boxes or isothermal containers, are special protective containers for storing and transporting batteries in tough conditions. Their main purpose is to prevent FPV drone battery packs from losing charge and degrading quickly in severe cold or heat. This container keeps a stable internal temperature and helps extend battery life.
Why do you need a thermal container?

Without thermal protection, batteries quickly drain and lose capacity in the cold. Thanks to isothermal materials and smart design, battery packs won’t freeze in winter or overheat in summer. What’s inside?
Our FPV battery thermal box is equipped with heating elements that keep the temperature up to +21°C even when it’s -20°C outside. The heating runs from a power bank, ensuring complete autonomy and mobility. In hot conditions, the heating is not needed — the isothermal materials keep a stable internal temperature on their own. The Cordura and thermal insulation make the container low-profile in thermal imaging. It’s also lightweight, isothermal, universal, and energy-efficient — suitable for batteries of various sizes and types.
How long does it keep warm?
At -20°C, the thermal container keeps +18°C for up to 8 hours without opening the lid. If you open it gradually (up to 9 times), it holds heat for up to 5 hours. At +5°C, it can keep batteries warm for up to 10 hours. This is reliable thermal protection for batteries even during long missions.
