Maximum resistance to EW
The fiber optic reel transmits the signal over the wire without using radio waves. The absence of electromagnetic radiation makes the system completely invisible to enemy electronic warfare systems. It cannot be detected, jammed or intercepted — the connection remains stable even in the area of active electronic warfare. This is a critical advantage for maintaining control and video transmission in combat conditions.
Precision in every movement
With a fibre length of up to 20 km, it can effectively control UAVs or ground platforms within a radius of up to 18.2 km. Full wireline connectivity ensures precise mission execution — from reconnaissance to precision strikes — in all conditions, including enemy electronic warfare.
Ready for combat use
The fiber optic module is compatible with drones from 13" and various types of UGV. Thanks to its sophisticated design, it can be easily integrated into existing solutions via a bracket. The optimised overall size and weight ensure that the speed, agility and reliability of the equipment is maintained - exactly what is required on the front line.
Reliability in every wire
Data is transmitted via modern protocols: S-BUS, CRSF and Ethernet, which allows the reel to be integrated into most control systems. It operates in a wide voltage range from 5 to 30 V, so it can be easily connected to most drones and platforms. The fiber optic has curl resistance up to 7.5 mm, which is critical during agile flight. This is not just a connection, but a secure control channel that can withstand combat loads.
Control component: Ground station for reel
The BTRY ground station is the control centre for fiber optic-based systems. The device converts control signals from the remote control and video from FPV goggles into an optical format for transmission via fiber, and also performs the reverse conversion for data reception. The station has a durable plastic case and is equipped with the necessary connectors for connecting the remote control, video devices and power supply.
