Interceptor drones and electronic warfare systems are reaching a new level of development, proving their effectiveness against Russian Shahed drones. Key examples include the Merops complex from Swift Beat, France’s Alta Ares with its Safe Protection Dome system based on Thales and Echodyne radars, Ukraine’s Octopus drones now in serial production, and the innovative P1-Sun from SkyFall. European trends are also shaped by Poland’s PGZ and Estonia’s Frankenburg Technologies, which are jointly developing air defense solutions. An important milestone is the creation of the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace, uniting more than 60 manufacturers and already used by hundreds of Ukrainian brigades. In the field of electronic warfare, the new Parasol 03 system from Mikstil stands out, having received an international NATO code that confirms compliance with alliance standards.
