Ukrainian drones and robots have proven that even limited resources can offset the enemy’s technological or numerical advantage.
In October 2025, Ukraine solidified its status as a drone superpower: the EU allocated €2 billion for drones, the Netherlands launched a factory with VDL, Milrem Robotics, Tulip Tech, and DeltaQuad, and Romania began joint UAV production for NATO. UK’s MGI Engineering is delivering SkyShark strike drones, while Ukrainian firms Global Mark and Twist Robotics unveiled the “Blitz” system and a relay drone for aircraft-type UAVs. FA v1, Darts-2, and “Zhuk” expanded the domestic lineup, and DOT-Chain Defence introduced a “drone configurator” for customizing UAVs to unit needs.
