The experience of the “robot war” concept shaped by Ukraine is increasingly attracting the attention of other nations.

Ukraine has become a global hub of drone innovation, drawing in a range of international partners: LeVanta Tech is developing the amphibious drone Halia; VDL in the Netherlands, together with Milrem Robotics, Tulip Tech, and DeltaQuad, is launching production of ground and aerial systems; and MGI Engineering is delivering SkyShark strike drones adapted from motorsport. Twist Robotics created a relay drone for fixed-wing UAVs, Global Mark introduced the “Blitz” strike-reconnaissance system, and DOT-Chain Defence launched a drone customization constructor. Baykar is testing the Kizilelma drone with a Ukrainian engine, DAMODA unveiled a container system for drone swarms, and BAE Systems with Forterra are converting the AMPV armored vehicle into an autonomous platform. Meanwhile, Ukrainian UGVs like “Bandura” show battlefield effectiveness, and EW systems—such as those used by the Air Assault Forces—neutralize up to 90% of enemy UAVs. Against this backdrop, Politico warns of Ukraine’s critical dependence on Chinese components—from batteries to navigation chips.
